Your questions answered
Please see Terms & Conditions for further details.

What do I need to bring?

For flat water sessions, suntan lotion, hat, towel, a drink, a swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit and clothes to get changed into.

What do I need to wear?

For flat water sessions - a wetsuit is often best for our climate. These are included (S, M, L, XL, XXL) but you are also welcome to wear your own.   If it is a really warm day, lightweight synthetic fabrics including leggings & rash vest work well.  Don't forget a hat!

What do we wear on our feet?

Water shoes or a pair of old trainers.

Where do we meet ?

You will receive an email containing the details of where to meet after you have booked.

What does my session include?

Sessions include introduction to your equipment, safety briefing, learning how to control your board and lots of time on the water to relax and enjoy stand up paddle boarding!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me - I am always happy to help.

Why is it 'women only'?

Having worked supporting women in the community sector, I could see a 'need' for a space that enabled accessibility. That was comfortable & safe.  Where questions & discussions could be had without feeling silly. And importantly, for women to have some 'time' to themselves away from the every day demands on their lives.

Are there changing facilities/toilets?

Some of the sites do not have changing facilities.   Toilets are available -  sometimes these are in local cafes and pubs.   Please support these local businesses by buying a drink etc.
